Year 8 Tutor Group 8KGR have raised £325.00 for Parkinson’s Disease Society Isle of Man through a range of activities as part of their ‘Charity Challenge’ tutor group activities.
The group picked the charity themselves and have worked incredibly hard to organise small group activities including a sponsored silence, a bike ride, a ‘onesie walk’ up Peel Hill and a ‘guess the sweets in the jar’ game for their year group. All of the students involved have been able to show their organisational skills and ability to teamwork effectively.
During an assembly this morning, a cheque was presented to the Chairman and Founder of the Isle of Man Society, Mrs Pamela Shimwell-Mayo MBE.
Well done 8KGR!
