As part of our Digital Awareness Week, three students from our Digital Learning Group attended a session on Information Security run by network monitoring company ‘noc396’ in Tromode.
The course was a modified version of the industry-standard ISO 27001 qualification, which the company run for all new employees to make sure they are aware of their roles and responsibilities as IT professionals and the value of information that is held by a company.
The students, Reuben, Sam and Ryan, found the course very useful and provided valid answers to all the questions that were asked during the afternoon – some of which will be taken on by the company in their future training!
We are pleased to announce that they all passed the course and received a certificate to put in their Records of Achievement.
Thanks to our ICT Support Officer, Mr Horton, for accompanying the students and to Mr Steriopulos, Operations Director at noc396, for providing a useful and informative session.
