Tuesday 13th June will be our annual Heats Day at QEII. This is an excellent event where the whole school is off timetable for a day to participate in 16 inclusive athletic activities. It is a day that has an excellent community feel and the students show pride in representing their house and hopefully having fun in the sun. Sports captains will use the scores from the day to select their Sports Day teams. Sports Day will happen later in the year which is a more competitive event. Heats Day is all about having fun and being involved.

Students can arrive at school in appropriate sports kit of their house colours. They will need a water bottle, sun cream and a cap if sunny. If the weather forecast is poor, a decision will be made on the Monday to allow students and staff to prepare for a normal school day.

Students will be given more information as we approach the day, including a confirmation of their house team.

Kind regards
