Year 12 volunteers attended Junior Tynwald this morning to put our MHKs and Ministers to the test. The Chief Minister was called up first to answer James' question on the possibility of conscription to the Armed Forces being adopted in the Island. Later, Ealish derived answers from the Minister for Health and Social Care on safeguarding of money in Manx Care. Ealish added a good few follow up questions during the morning's Junior Tynwald session. Natalie also got to raise a stink with the Chair of Manx Utilities about the release of sewage into the sea. Timothy also made good contributions to several of the questions.
All the questions and answers today are officially recorded in Hansard. Our QEII representatives can be proud that they raised some key issues, which impressed our local Politicians.
