Exams Information

Published Friday 27 March 2020

Dear Parent/Carer

Exams information

As you are no doubt aware, GCSE and A Level exams will not take place this year.

There is a lot of uncertainty regarding how this will be managed and we are closely monitoring the Ofqual, Cambridge International and SQA guidance.

Currently, the examination boards are working with Ofqual to determine how grades will be awarded. We are hopeful that this information will be made available in early April.

We want to reassure you that we will advise you of any significant updates, as they become available.

The latest updates from Ofqual and Cambridge International can be viewed on the school website.

In the meantime, I hope that you are all following the government advice and staying safe. These are challenging times but I know you will come through them if you support each other. School is open between 9am and 4pm Monday-Friday if you need to phone but the best way to contact is via enquiries as we can send your message to the relevant teacher who will be working from home.

Take care everyone.

Ms S Moore
Head
