Last Tuesday afternoon we held our annual Western Maths Olympiad!
Each Primary School in our catchment area sent a team of 4 or 5 Year 6 students to take part in a series of four Maths and logic puzzles.
Each team, aided by a Year 7 volunteer, worked tirelessly against the clock to complete the puzzles to see who would come out on top. It was a tight race with just four points in it at the end!
We eventually saw St Johns Primary School come out on top and claim victory, followed closely by Marown who came both second and third places!!
We are very grateful to the Primary staff who brought the children along and to Mr Coole for presenting our winners with their prize and Olympiad Trophy!
