'Spring Showcase'

Published Thursday 29 March 2018

On Thursday 22nd March the School Hall came alive with music, dancing, drama and singing for our annual Spring Showcase.

The evening showcases the talent and hardwork of our Performing Arts students and their commitment to extra-curricular and examination work. We had performances from Windband, Junior and Senior Choir, Guitars, all-aged Dancers, Club Kiaull and solos from GCSE, Alevel and Btec work.

Miss Withey, Mrs Greenlees, Mrs Fernandes, Miss Wainwright and Mr Kinley would like to thank all those who came to support the evening and are incredibly proud of all those who performed. There was a special mention for our three Year 13’s Chloe Irving, Hannah Kaighin and Seb Devereau who were awarded ‘Outstanding Contribution to Performing Arts’ for being avid supporters of music throughout the whole of their school years. Also a sad formal goodbye to Mr Field who has dedicated so much time to our string players through his role at the Music Service.
