Remember, remember the 5th of November
Some of our Year 7 science students took a break from the normal curriculum last week to learn about the chemistry of fireworks and how to handle them safely.
Students had the opportunity to make their own sparklers and burn some of the metal compounds found in fireworks today.
Lots of fun and great for the students to see science in action!
