Top of the Bench Competition

Published Thursday 12 November 2020

UPDATE - Our amazing Top of the Bench Chemistry team came an incredible third (by one point) in the Liverpool heat. They WON the Cryptic Puzzle round! Congratulations to them!

On Wednesday 11th November a team of 4 students took part in the Royal Society of Chemistry Top of the Bench Competition.

Katie, Josh, Rebecca and Tisha made a presentation on Alchemy and Alchemists, calculated an unknown concentration of acid from experimental data and were challenged in a six level cryptic puzzle.

All of the students worked to an exceptional standard. Miss Kelsey is very proud of their hard work and dedication working together as a team. They are waiting for the results on Friday to see if they made it through to the final heat!
