QEII School Band Lockdown Recording
It was great to see the School Band start rehearsing again last Friday. However, during the recent lockdown the band kept themselves busy by producing a virtual performance of Alan Silvestri’s theme music to Marvel’s ‘The Avengers’ films. Band members recorded their individual parts on smart phones, tablets etc. at home by playing along to a specially created guide track. They then sent their completed performance to band conductor, Mr Kinley, who then edited the various parts together to produce a full band recording which you can now hear by clicking the link below.
Many thanks to all the band members and friends of the band who took part, to Mr Coole for putting the video together and Mr Kinley for creating and co-ordinating the project and putting together the various parts.
