Interschool Cross Country

Published Wednesday 12 December 2018

QEII students performed excellently last week in the Interschool Cross Country competition which was held at Ramsey Grammar School.

The senior boys won the team competition with excellent performances from Will (1st), Rhys (3rd) and Tom (8th). There was another win for the inter boys who were lead impressively by Corrin (1st), Ieuan (2nd), Jake (4th) and Alex (11th).

There were further notable performances, particularly from the inter girls who finished in 2nd place with excellent performances from Alice (2nd), Kate (3rd) and Robin (6th).

There were also two other race winners from QEII - Cian won the Year 7 boys race in a nail-biting finish! Perhaps most impressively, the junior boys race was won by Gethin from Year 8 who was racing against many people a year older than himself!

Another successful cross country season at QEII, well done to all who took part!
