Yesterday afternoon, the Maths Department held their annual Western Olympiad.
Students from our partner Primaries competed against each other in teams of 4 to compete for the trophy. All of the activities required a high level of mathematical understanding as well as requiring logical thinking skills.
Scores were tight throughout with there only being 1 point between some of the teams at the end of the 4 rounds! The eventual winners were Ballaugh with St Johns as the runners up. Marown Team 1 took third place.
Thank you to all of the teams and staff involved. All of the students had a great afternoon!
