Year 7 Enterprise Challenge

Published Friday 25 January 2019

Yesterday our Year 7 students had a great time taking part in the Junior Achievement Programme ‘Enterprise Challenge’.

The students were split into teams with a business volunteer, and they then learnt what it takes to plan and organise a pop concert!

The Enterprise Challenge encourages teamwork through group discussion and activities. The students had to decide how to attract an audience to a concert and consider such things as budget, venue and different types of advertising. At the end of the programme they had to present their ideas to the rest of the group and a judging panel. There were some fabulous presentations, very well done to everyone for your creativity!

We are very grateful to the Junior Achievement team, and all the volunteers from the local business community, for giving up their time to give our students this opportunity!
