Year 7 and 8 Netball and Hockey Tour Report

Thirty-two excited Year 7 and 8 QEII students travelled to Stonyhurst College and Sedburgh over the weekend for our annual UK sports tour. The girls commitment to all extra-curricular paid diffidence with our girls holding their own against very challenging opposition.

Though the results didn’t go in our favour, invaluable experience against high standard opposition was gained - a great learning curve for our students. All students demonstrated great tenacity to develop throughout each fixture. Behaviour and efforts were a credit to the school and they have created great memories as a team.

An extended thank you to all parents/guardians supporting this opportunity and to Knox House Trust for sponsoring the tour apparel, which the girls didn’t take off all weekend! Your efforts to support the school and community is one that is greatly appreciated.
