Today we have been celebrating World Book Day with a fun range of activities for our Year 7 and 8 students. These included games of Cluedo and also a treasure hunt in the Library, making Origami book worms and also a fantastic ‘Snowball Challenge’. This involved throwing paper snowballs, in teams, to music and when the music stopped answering the question on the paper. Each time a question was answered correctly the snowball was removed until only one was left. The team with the most points at the end won Amazon vouchers and sweets!
Year 6 students from Peel Clothworkers’ also joined us during the day, many dressed as their favourite character, and had a great time taking part in the activities!
