July 2025 - Gold DofE Practice Expedition

It may have been glorious this weekend, but last Friday our DofE Gold group were battling the wind and rain on the second day of their practice expedition.

Over the course of the expedition they covered 24 miles of mixed footpath and open 'mountain' terrain, over 1250m of height gain and a wild camp.

They all did brilliantly, and will now be considering what they want to achieve with their qualifying expedition in the Lake District next year.
