QEII Sports Awards - Thursday 11th July

Published Friday 19 July 2019

On Thursday 11th July the inaugural QEII Sports Awards were held in the Main Assembly Hall at School, where we reviewed and celebrated our year of sport. Mark Robinson (former All Black) joined us for the evening to present the awards and entertained us with stories of growing up in New Zealand and his career as a professional rugby player. School Endeavour prizes were awarded to those students whose efforts and commitment have been notably brilliant this year and School Colours ties were awarded to those students who have performed extremely well for the School in at least three different sports, as well as showing significant dedication and effort in training. The trophies for the Awards were very kindly funded by the QEII High School Association.

QEII has lots to celebrate this year and all of the prize winners, along with all other students who have represented the School in any way, should be extremely proud of themselves. Well done to everyone for a great year of sport, we are already looking forward to next year!
