At QEII our curriculum for music is constructed to help build and nurture our student’s ability to work independently and build key life skills. In music we aim to develop our student’s problem solving, leadership and confidence through the learning and creation of a wide variety of musical periods and genres, ranging from the Baroque period all the way to modern rap and reggae. Building these skills will allow the student to find success in any area of profession they may choose and will equip them with a lifelong love and appreciation for the music that surrounds them everyday.
