At QEII, as part of your child’s education, we promote personal wellbeing and development through a comprehensive Personal, Social, Health, Relationships and Sex Education programme. The curriculum subject gives young people the knowledge, understanding, attitudes and practical skills to live safe, healthy, productive lives and meet their full potential. In line with the IOM Government framework (see documents), that is followed across all island schools, your child will take part in lessons on a range of subjects. As students move through their school years, topics will be built on at age-appropriate times. The sessions will be delivered by members of staff as well as other agencies (for example the police, school nurses and the youth team).

Throughout the year there are also drop-down health days that use external agency expertise to educate students in these very important and relevant topics.

If you would like to find out more or discuss any of the topics covered, please contact QE2Enquiries@sch.im

RSE is currently paused as direction from DESC.
